your underwear should always be cleaner than your mind*

Summer, o summer! Wherefore art thou, summer?
Playing Words with Friends. I ain't got nothing better to do.
Actually I do. You know, homework and a little grammar wouldn't hurt.
Ruling the 7 seas.
I couldn't come up with an R...
Instagram - a good way to annoy people.
Nightlife. I like to boogie. And read books. At night.
Grapefruit or should I say the greatest fruit.

*Well, don't you people come here for life advice?

We also payed a visit to a film night held for the Prima Vista literature festival. You can see Hanna's Vine HERE.

walpurgis night!

It got very hazy, very fast...

...that was Marten Kuningas in Rotalia. I think...
...and by the time I got home, it was light outside.

fa-la-la-la-la

Spring is here! I know that because we felt its spirit firsthand last night at the student night song festival. Unlike last year, the event was held in the Tartu song festival ground, which in my opinion was a little big. The feeling wasn't quite the same. Then again one can understand that Kassitoome is far more difficult to clean up. And there is a lot of cleaning up to do. Let's face it drunk students aren't that different from a herd of pigs.

Tonight, however... Tonight, oh what a night. It's Walpurgis Night, the night when all the students go out and do their thing. By which I of course do not mean the arts and sciences. Though one must admit there's quite a bit of science and art to what will go on tonight. I'll keep you posted. Or try at least.

they grow up so fast, don't they...

Spent the weekend at home for my mother's birthday. The 49th. If I've learned anything from bad American TV, then this was merely her first 49th birthday.

I know, I know, the old blog here is drowning a bit. We'll see how much longer it'll float. Perhaps with the student spring festivities coming up I'll find something more to share. Perhaps.

keep calm and party on

So you guys remember my friend Mart, right? Yeah that one. He turned 21 on April 1. No, really! But he had his Tallinn friend gang over just this Friday. To be honest, it was the second time this year that went to his birthday party. Listen very carefully, I will say this only once - there's a huge advantage to drinking in Tartu: everything is just close enough to walk home and thus save the money of a cab ride for yet another night booze-schmoozing.

We, as young socially aware adults, spent a decent part of our time there watching the Boston manhunt. At 3 AM we finally gave up and went home to sleep. The American police, however, didn't. Sure enough, they had caught him by morning.

That's Mart's kitty Felix. Don't let his fluffy exterior fool you, he'll cut you. I mean he actually cut Eduard.
